Shane McCallan RIP
An Charraig Mhór CLG are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the much loved Shane McCallan.
A devoted son, brother, and extended family member, Shane came from a family that has long contributed to the life of our club and wider community.
He was a beloved brother to our committee member and underage coach Seamus, and a cherished uncle to nieces and nephews who proudly wear the An Charraig Mhór jersey.
A passionate supporter of our club, Shane was also a former youth player who remained closely connected to An Charraig Mhór throughout his life. Always willing to lend a hand, he enthusiastically joined one of our development ticket selling groups last September and had been actively involved ever since.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his mother Bernadette, his brother Seamus, his sisters Ciara, Eimear, and Mary, his sister in law, his brothers in law, his nieces and nephews, and the wider McCallan and McGinley families.
Shane is predeceased by his father James and his brother Ciaran. We trust he is now reunited with them in eternal rest.
We keep the McCallan and McGinley families in our thoughts and prayers in the difficult days ahead.
