Our U14 girls grade 1 team lost out by a point to Omagh in their first game of 2024, while the U14 development team were defeated by Ardboe.

Both our U14 girls are at home in the league on Sunday morning at 11am. The grade 1 team host Kildress and the development team play Errigal Ciaran.

Congratulations to Danny Fullerton and his Ulster University team mates on winning the Sigerson Cup Final against University College Dublin (UCD) in Tralee.

The club hosted a Junior Páirc Run on Sunday morning. Our youth ran various distances up to 2K and the smiles never left their faces. Thank you to all who made this possible. It continues on Sunday morning at 9.30 and all children are welcome.

On 23rd February we are starting a ‘Clean Up Carmen’. There will be Litter Pickers, High-Vis Vests and bags provided at the clubrooms or contact any committee member. If you can start with your own road and get your family out.

This week’s proverb is as follows: Giorraíonn beirt bóthar –  ‘Two is company’ or ‘Two shortens the road’.

Irish Language classes with Cormac will continue on a Tuesday at 8pm in the clubrooms.

Ceile Dancing with Dominic Molloy continues on a Wednesday at 8pm in the clubrooms.

Our club plays host this weekend to the second Tyrone Scór Sinsear Semi-Final on Sunday evening at 7pm in The Patrician. Any club member who wishes to help out should make themselves available. Gach dea ghuí of course to all those who are representing the club in each of the seven stage-performance acts. Míle buíochas to everyone who helped our preparations in recent weeks. We would encourage members of the club and wider community to attend this great event.

Club membership is now due. Please log to register. It is important all players and coaches are registered. Registration closes on 31st March. The deadline for LGFA registrations is 15th March to allow registrations to be processed by LGFA. Individuals will have the chance to register at our membership nights on Thursday 7th and 14th March from 6pm – 8pm in the Dean Maguirc College.
