As chairperson of Tyrone GAA, I fully support the A5 Enough is Enough campaign to get the promised A5 dual carriageway built without further delay.
The A5 Enough is Enough campaign needs your assistance in the coming few weeks. You can help by doing at least one of the following :
1. Attending the Pre-Inquiry meeting which will take place in the Silverbirch Hotel Omagh next Tuesday night 9th May at 7.30pm. This is a hugely important event in light of the most recent deaths on the A5 and I wish to extend my sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. I would ask that your club send as many people as possible to this event to show your support.
2. Participating in the Public Inquiry which begins on Monday 15th May in the Strule Arts Centre Omagh. I would ask that your club would nominate at least 2 people to attend the inquiry for at least one day.
3. Signing the A5 petition- https://www.change.org/p/a5-enough-is-enough
Please share this with link to the petition with your club members, players, parents and coaches and get as many people as possible to sign it.
