Despite a tremendous comeback against Trí Leach, our senior men came up short by the narrowest of margins, 2-9 to 0-16. The reserves won impressively on a scoreline of 8-15 to 0-11. We welcome Airgeal Chiaráin to Pairc Colmcille this Friday for round 3 of the league with 6:30pm & 7:45pm throw-ins.

Our minor Ladies continued their excellent form with a good away win against An Mháigh last Tuesday. In Round 9 of the league, the minors welcome Éadan na dTorc to Pairc Colmcille this Tuesday 31st, for a 7:30pm throw-in.

At Dunmoyle, our U14 ladies competed in round 3 of the league, losing out in a close match to Airgeal Chiaráin. The girls meet An Ómaigh , at home, this Sunday 5th June at 11am in round 4. In the U13 boys Grade 4 championship match, our boys had a good win over An Ómaigh.

Comhghairdeas to the Tyrone minor team, including Gerard Donnelly, Conor Gormley on the management team, and Pearse Byrne & Conn Sweeney, on their Ulster Championship final win over Doire.

After the success of last year’s concert, the club have invited the Whistlin’ Donkeys back to the club to perform with support act One for the Road on Saturday, 25h June 2022. Tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/donkeyshooley. This is the club’s big fundraiser for the year, so all support is welcomed. It also promises to be a great night!

The Youth Presentation has been postponed until the summertime.

Walk &Talk at Pairc Colmcille invites ladies to call into the clubrooms for tea and a chat. This social initiative by our health and well-being committee is on Monday mornings, with facilities open from 9am to 11am.

Gaelic for Mothers and Others continues this Wednesday at the Fr Magilligan Park (Youth club pitch) at 7:30pm. The aims are to increase fitness and have fun. If interested, contact Emma at 07824318371 or Etaoine at 07704913303.

Ceili dancing continues this Wednesday, from 8:30 pm – 10 pm, in the clubrooms with Dominic Molloy.

Irish classes for improvers finish up for the summer with the final class at the clubrooms this Tuesday at 8 pm. This will be the last class until Meán Fómhair. Tá súil agam go mbeidh sibh uilig ann. Go raibh míle maith agaibh to our Muinteoir na Gaeilge Iontach Cormac McAleer for his hard work, patience and support throughout the year.

In the weekly club lotto, after a redraw from fourteen entries with 3 correct numbers, there were four winners who each collected £25.
