In their first league match of 2022, our senior men had an impressive home win over An Droim Mór on a 1-12 to 1-10 scoreline. The Reserve team lost 0-11 to 2-14. We welcome Trí Leac to Pairc Colmcille this Friday for Round 2 of the league with throw-in at 6:30pm & 7:45pm.

 

Our minor Ladies sit proudly at the top of their Grade 1 league with a perfect record, having travelled to & won at Trí Leac on Sunday past. They now travel to An Mháigh this Tuesday for a 6:30pm match.

 

Our U13 1B boys’ team had a good win at home against Loch Mhic Ruairí. The U13 Grade 4 team meet An Ómaigh in the Championship at Pairc Colmcille this Thursday at 7:15pm.  Ádh mór to all our teams this week!

 

Mí-ádh to the Tír Eoghain U16 ladies who lost to Cavan in the Ulster Platinum final. Maith Sibh to Sorcha Gormley, Alannah Loughran and Lauren McMahon on representing our club in the Tír Eoghain team. Mí-ádh also to the Tír Eoghain U14 ladies who lost to Waterford in the Ulster Silver final.

 

Comhghairdeas to the Tyrone minor team, including Gerard Donnelly, Conor Gormley on the management team, and Pearse Byrne & Conn Sweeney, on their dramatic Ulster Championship semi-final victory over Donegal. They now face Doire in Clones this Sunday, 29th at 1:30pm. Ádh mór to the team and management.

 

Comghairdeas to the Tír Eoghain hurling team and management on winning the Nickey Rackard cup.

  

The Youth Presentation has been postponed until the summertime.

 

Walk &Talk at Pairc Colmcille invites ladies to call into the clubrooms for tea and a chat. This social initiative by our health and well-being committee is on Monday mornings, with facilities open from 9am to 11am.

 

Gaelic for Mothers and Others returns this Wednesday, 25th May, at the Fr Magilligan Park (Youth club pitch) at 7:30pm. The aims are to increase fitness and have fun. If interested, contact Emma at 07824318371 or Etaoine at 07704913303.

 

Ceili dancing recommences this Wednesday, from 8:30 pm – 10 pm, in the clubrooms with Dominic Molloy.

In the weekly club lotto, after a redraw from fourteen entries with 3 correct numbers, there were four winners who each collected £25.
