The club wishes to give its condolences to the families of May McKernan, Packie McDonald, Frank Coyle, Fabian McDermott & Anna O’Neill.

The weekend saw our U19 men’s team lose out in their league opener at home to Coill an Chlochair by 6-12 to 3-12. They are pencilled in to play An Chorr Chríochach away this Sunday. Keep an eye on social media for details. Our U13 Grade 4B team lost away to An Táite Riabhach. This Saturday 9th at 11am, the Grade 1B U13 boys league resumes with a home match against Trí Leac. The minor Ladies began their league campaign in style on Tuesday with a convincing home win over Ard Bó. They now face Aodh Ruadh this Tuesday at home at 6:45pm. On Wednesday 6th, our U17 boys travel to Domhnach Mór for a league match at 6:30pm.

Our U14 girls played Béarach on Sunday in a challenge game. Go raibh maith agat to Béarach for the game. The Girls Feile is this Sunday, 10th April. Details of time and venue will be confirmed on our Social Media.

Comhghairdeas to Clara Rose Marley and her Tír Eoghain teammates on winning the Ulster U14 Silver Final on Saturday. Comhghairdeas fosta to all the club representatives on the Tír Eoghain U20 men’s team who overcame An Dún in the first round of the Ulster Championship. Maith sibh Brian Conway, James Donaghy, Tiarnan McGarrity, Lorcan McGarrity and Seamus Sweeney. Comghhairdeas fosta Pearse Burns and Conn Sweeney, who are part of the U17 Tír Eoghain team.

Year one of the relaunched Spirit of Carmen has concluded. If you have not renewed, please contact a committee member or our club treasurer at treasurer.carrickmorestcolmcilles.tyrone@gaa.ie to get involved. All monies raised are going towards the Indoor multi-purpose sports facility to allow current and future club stars to continue training no matter the weather. Bígí Linn. Join Us. The April Spirt of Carmen draw will be held on Monday 11th at 8:30pm.

The Health & Well-Being subcommittee are launching an initiative to encourage Ladies in the community to use the club on Mondays for a coffee or tea and a chat. The official launch date and time is Monday 25th April at 1pm. This will see Sam Maguire in the clubrooms along with tea and refreshments. Everyone is very welcome to come along to chat and hear a few stories from Cuthbert Donnelly about Sam’s travels.

Local clubs, including our own club, helped to launch the Darkness Into Light Clogher Valley Walk. You can Register at www.darknessintolight.ie for the event, which takes place on Saturday 7th May 2022 in Ballygawley.

Ceili dancing continues each Wednesday, from 8:30 pm – 10 pm, in the clubrooms with Dominic Molloy.

There is a flash sale at the club shop this Thursday between 7:30 pm & 8 pm. With 20% of all skinnies & 50% of all discontinued stock.  

There were 2 winners of this week’s lotto with 4 correct numbers. Each won £50. Comhghairdeas Olivia McCullagh & Michael Loughran. The winning numbers were 1,3,8,12 & 21.
