Last week’s league matches saw our ladies’ minor team continue their impressive start to the season with a big win over Aodh Ruadh. They next travel to Dunmoyle to play Airgeal Chiaráin on Tuesday 26th April. The Senior ladies league campaign begins on Sunday 24th, away to the same opponents. The U13 Grade 1B team had a good home win over Trí Leac. Next up is a trip to parish neighbours Loch Mhic Ruairí this Saturday 16th at 11am. At the same time, the U13  Grade 4B team are at home against Achadh Uí  Áráin. Our U17 boy’s lost away to Domhnach Mór. They welcome Ard Bó to Pairc Colmcille this Wednesday 13th, at 6:45pm. Go Games begin on Sunday 23rd April.

The U14 girls league commences on Tuesday 19th at home to Cookstown at 7pm.

Mí-ádh, hard luck, to the girls in Sundays Feile. Ádh mór to the Tír Eoghain Minor ladies including our club players, Aoibhinn Daly, Clodagh Munroe, Aine Grimes and Cloda McNamee, in the Ulster final on Saturday.

Comhghairdeas to our Tyrone U20 club players  Brian Conway, James Donaghy, Tiarnan McGarrity, Lorcan McGarrity and Seamus Sweeney on their victory in the Ulster championship semi-final, after extra time, in an epic battle with Dún na nGall. They will now meet An Cabhán in the decider. Comhghairdeas fosta to the Tír Eoghain U17 team on winning the Ulster Minor League by overcoming Doire at the weekend 2-7 to 1-9. Ádh mór to Johnny, Cormac and the entire Tír Eoghain panel in the Ulster championship vs Fermanagh. Year one of the relaunched Spirit of Carmen has concluded. If you have not renewed, please contact a committee member or our club treasurer at treasurer.carrickmorestcolmcilles.tyrone@gaa.ie to get involved. All monies raised are going towards the Indoor multi-purpose sports facility to allow current and future club stars to continue training no matter the weather. Bígí Linn. Join Us. The April Spirt of Carmen draw will be held on Easter Tuesday (19th April) at 8:30pm.

Please note that Sam Maguire will be visiting the Club on Monday 25 April at 1pm. We are inviting local people who may be at Home or who are available on this day to drop down to the Clubrooms for tea, coffee and a chat. Bring a friend or family member if you can.

Local clubs, including our own club, helped to launch the Darkness Into Light Clogher Valley Walk. You can Register at www.darknessintolight.ie for the event, which takes place on Saturday 7th May 2022 in Ballygawley.

Ceili dancing continues each Wednesday, from 8:30 pm – 10 pm, in the clubrooms with Dominic Molloy.

The club shop is open this Thursday between 7:30 pm & 8 pm.
