An Charraig Mhór CLG would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the Fox family on the sudden passing of our esteemed past player Jimmy this morning.
Jimmy wore the An Charraig Mhór jersey with pride from 1967 to 1972 and along with his twin brother Tony (RIP), played an integral part on the 1969 team who won the O’Neill Cup.
As proprietor of the Old Charm Inn, Jimmy has provided food for all our club teams on many an occasion, after training, matches, dinner dances, presentation nights and the service was always second to none.
Jimmy in his role as undertaker has always ensured our past club players, club presidents, club members had a dignified and respectful send off.
Predeceased by his wife Briege, we keep his immediate and extended family in our thoughts at this difficult time, Tracey (Declan), Aaron (Angie), Peadar (Steise), Kelley (Ronan), Connie (Kevin), his brothers Peter, Pat, Francie and Brian, sister Rosie and the wider Fox and McCallan families as they prepare to take their beloved Jimmy to his place of rest.
Sadly missed by all at An Charraig Mhór GFC.
May he rest in peace.
