Our senior and reserve teams continued their good league campaigns with away win’s at Clonoe. The seniors won 1-14 to 0-11, and the reserves won 2-11 to 1-10. Ardboe will visit Páirc Colmcille this Sunday 28th, with throw-ins at 2:15 pm and 3:45 pm. The reserves lost narrowly in the championship final to Dromore on a 2-11 to 2-9 scoreline last Thursday.
The U17 boys’ championship run ended in the Parish derby to Loughmacrory on Wednesday. On Tuesday, our U16 ladies lost at home to Moortown. They are away to Edendork this Tuesday 23rd, for a 7 pm start.
On Saturday, our senior ladies continued a strong league campaign with a home win against Dromore 5-5(20) to 3-10(19). This Wednesday 24th, the ladies travel to St Macartans for a 7:30 pm throw-in, followed by a 7 pm away match at Aghyaran this Saturday 27th.
The Grade 1 & Grade 3 U15 boys teams lost their respective fixtures to Cookstown & Owen Roes. The Grade 1 team will travel to Fintona next Tuesday 30th, at 6:45 pm. On Saturday 27th, the Grade 3 team are away to Drumragh for a 2 pm throw-in.

The club is inviting people to volunteer to represent An Charraig Mhór in celebrating our culture in this year’s Scór Sinsear. The categories are Ceili Dancing, Solo Singing, Recreation & Story Telling, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music and Set Dance. The Health and Well Being sub-committee wish to highlight a Farm Families Health check on Saturday, 3rd September, 10 am – 4 pm. Everyone in our local community is eligible. Slots will fill up, so you are advised to book early. Note: This Health check is in association with the Public Health Agency (PHA) and DAERA (Rural Affairs). Oisin McConville will give a talk at the club concerning “Resilience in Sport” on Monday 26th September at 7 pm. This talk will be aimed at the U15 to U19 teams.
The club will be organising a six-week Yoga and six-week Couch25K programmes – more details to follow in the coming weeks.
