The club wishes to give our sympathies to the families of Peter Molloy, Mary Fullan, Pat McKee, Bernadette Cummins, Brenda McGath (nee McGarrity), Noreen McGinley, Bridie Kavanagh, Anthony Doherty, John McNamee & Noel Treacy.
In perfect conditions, on Sunday afternoon, our seniors gave an impressive performance to overcome the hosts, Dóire Lacháin, on a 2-16 to 0-10 scoreline. That was the perfect response to the 1-10 to 3-12 loss to Dún Geanainn on Wednesday. Round eleven of the league is this Friday, 5th August, at Pairc Colmcille, with the visitors, Na Fianna Oileán an Ghuail. Throw-in times are 6:30pm & 7:45pm for the Reserve & Senior Matches. The Reserve championship continues this Sunday 7th, with a quarterfinal tie at home at 1 pm against Dóire Lacháin.
In the league, Our U15 Grade 3B team lost away to Urney & our Grade 1 team lost away to An Eaglais. This Wednesday, our Grade 1 team have a home match against Ard Bó at 7:30 pm. On Saturday, the Grade 3B team welcome Eiscreach (Eskra) to Páirc Colmcille for a 2 pm throw-in.
A busy Wednesday saw our U17 boys lose away to An Droim Mór. On the same evening, in the league final, our ladies U14 team lost out to a strong Kildress. Mí-ádh agus maith sibh to the players and management in competing in both the championship and league finals this year.
Our minor ladies’ team clinched the double when they overcame a valiant An Ómaigh challenge to win the Grade 1 Minor Championship on Tuesday evening. This is the third year in a row the minor ladies have completed the league and championship double. The fourth league title in a row. Maith Sibh agus comhghairdeas to the players and management on a tremendous achievement.
The Senior ladies league resumes this Saturday 6th, at 7 pm, with our ladies meeting Cill Íseal in Round 8 of the league at 7 pm. Maith Sibh to the team for representing our club at the All Ireland Sevens in Dublin at the weekend.

The club is inviting people to volunteer to represent the club in celebrating our culture in this year’s Scór Sinsear. The categories are Ceili Dancing, Solo Singing, Recreation & Story Telling, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music and Set Dance. The club is hosting a GAA three-day Skills Development Sports Summer Camp from Monday 22nd August until Wednesday 24th August from 10 am until 1 pm. It’s for Age groups P1 till Second Year. The cost is £25. You can book online at www.abcoaching.ie .
The Youth Presentation has been postponed until later in the summertime.
