On Tuesday, the U14 girls league campaign commenced with an impressive victory over An Chorr Chríochach. Next up is a trip to Éadan na dTorc for an 11 am match on Sunday 1st May. Our senior ladies league campaign began in an equally impressive fashion with an away win over Airgeal Chiaráin 6-06 to 3-10. They travel to Sperrin Og this Saturday for a 7pm throw-in. The ladies minor team are away to Airgeal Chiaráin this Tuesday 26th, at 7:15pm. This team then face An Ómaigh on the following Tuesday.
Our U13 Grade 4B team had a good win over Airgeal Chiaráin, but our Grade 1B team lost away to An Ceapach. The 1B team meet An Ómaigh at home this Thursday 28th, at 7:15pm.
Go Games began at the weekend. Maith Sibh to all the players, parents, coaches, and officials who participated. Our U7.5, U9.5, 11.5 boys and U8.5 girls, were all involved.
Comhghairdeas to Clara Rose Marley & the Tír Eoghain U14 girls on winning their All-Ireland qtr final match against Kilkenny. Comhghairdeas fosta to the Tír Eoghain Minor team, including Gerard Donnelly, Conor Gormley on the management team, and Pearse Byrne & Conn Sweeney on a great win over Cavan in the Ulster Minor Championship. Comhghairdeas to the entire Tyrone U20 team and management, including our club players Brian Conway, James Donaghy, Tiarnan McGarrity, Lorcan McGarrity and Seamus Sweeney, on overcoming Cavan to clinch the Ulster Championship. They face Kerry in the All Ireland Semi-final on the weekend of 7th-8th May.
Ádh Mór to Johnny, Cormac and the entire Tír Eoghain team in the Ulster Championship Quarterfinal against Doire. The match is this Sunday 1st May at 4pm in Healy Park. Comhghairdeas to Joe McKee on winning the Easter 2022 Spirit of Carmen Draw, winning £500.
U15 boys are in the Feile in Killyclogher at 10am on Saturday . Youth Presentation for U13 boys, U15 boys and U16 girls is pencilled in for Thursday 5th May in the Patrician. Keep an eye on social media for details.
Maith Sibh to the Health & Well Being Sub Committee for organising and hosting a “Sam Maguire comes to Carmen” event at the club on Monday past. Go raibh maith agaibh fosta to Cuthbert Donnelly for taking Sam to the club and to folk singer Sean Donnelly for providing the musical entertainment. Finally and most importantly, Go raibh míle maith agaibh to everyone who attended the event.
The Health and Well Being subcommittee have launched a new social initiative aimed at encouraging ladies in our community to use the club walkways on Mondays and to call at the clubrooms for coffee/tea & a chat. This initiative begins this Monday 2nd May at 11 am and continues each Monday thereafter, initially for six weeks. Please support and spread the word about this initiative. Bígí Linn. Join us.

Local clubs, including our own club, helped to launch the Darkness Into Light Clogher Valley Walk. You can Register at www.darknessintolight.ie for the event, which takes place on Saturday7th May 2022 in Ballygawley.
Ceili dancing continues each Wednesday, from 8:30 pm – 10 pm, in the clubrooms with Dominic Molloy.
